How it works

  1. Install. Download for your OS and launch the app (notarised on macOS, AppImage on Linux, unsigned NSIS on Windows for V1).
  2. Plug in your API keys. You buy, you get a private setup guide with the exact providers we use and how to get a key on each (5 minutes total, free tiers are enough). Inside the app a "?" button next to every field repeats the same steps.
  3. Paste, pick, post. YouTube URL, language, custom prompt (optional, with saved prompts). Click Create. Copy the finished article as Markdown, plain text or HTML.

FAQ

Will I need any other accounts?

Yes, two third-party API providers. The app uses your keys to generate the article and to fetch the transcript. We don't markup anything, you pay them directly. The exact providers and the 5-minute walkthrough to get a key on each is in the setup guide you receive right after checkout. Inside the app a "?" button next to every field repeats the same steps.

Can I choose between different AI models?

Yes. The desktop app supports multiple major AI providers. You pick the one you prefer in Settings (with a simple dropdown) and plug in your own key. The setup guide you receive after checkout walks you through getting a key on each option.

How much will the API actually cost me?

Typically less than $0.20 per article in total provider costs (most are well under $0.10). Both providers have free tiers generous enough for the first dozen articles. Exact pricing details ship with the setup guide you get after purchase.

Why isn't Windows code-signed?

Code-signing certificates for Windows have a recurring cost that we decided to skip for V1. You'll see a Microsoft SmartScreen warning the first time, click "More info" then "Run anyway". It goes away after a few hundred installs build "reputation". The Mac build is fully signed and notarised.

Apple Silicon (M-series) supported?

Yes. The macOS build is native arm64 (and x64 for Intel Macs).

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 30 days, no questions asked. Email us at the support address that comes with your receipt.

How are updates delivered?

No auto-updater in V1. When a new version ships, every buyer gets an email with the download links and a short changelog. Updates are free forever.

What if I use 3 free articles and then change my mind?

That is fine. The trial counts per machine. The article history, saved prompts and settings stay even if the trial expires; you'll just need a license key to generate new ones.
